Dust returns fast after cleaning

Use this page when the filters look dirty again too quickly and the customer thinks the system is somehow fine between cleans.

What this usually means

If the filters become dusty again soon after cleaning, the system may be pulling through more contamination than expected or the inside of the unit may already be holding buildup.

Do this first

Clean the filters properly, let them dry, then check how quickly the dust comes back under normal use.

4-step check before you book

1
Remove both filters

Check whether the dust is light surface dust or thick, sticky buildup.

2
Rinse from the back

Push the dust away from the filter mesh instead of driving it deeper into it.

3
Check the vent area

Look past the filters to see whether dark dust is sitting deeper in the unit.

4
Track the return

If the filters look bad again within a short period, the whole system is worth checking.
