Photograph the full indoor unit
Stand far enough back to show the complete head unit, the wall around it and access below. This helps identify height and surrounding obstacles.
Capture the label and visible condition
Photograph the model label if it is easy to reach, then take clear images of the filter, louvres and accessible airflow opening with the unit switched off.
Show access and any specific concern
Include the area below the unit, nearby furniture and any visible leak mark or buildup you want assessed. Do not remove covers or reach into electrical sections for a photo.
The practical takeaway
Good photos make the scope clearer, but the final condition and any out-of-scope repair issue still need to be confirmed on site.
